MARCIN DUŃSKI

FROM MATTER TO LIGHT

MARCIN DUŃSKI

is a Polish multidimensional artist who is charting new paths in the visual arts. His work is characterized by an innovative approach and the use of unconventional materials.

Marcin is the creator of the globally unique technique known as Perfolight Art. His works are created from hundreds of thousands of tiny holes made on a specially prepared base. It is the light that passes through these precisely placed points that forms the final image, allowing the artist to sculpt compositions with light and shadow rather than a traditional paintbrush.

In addition to this pioneering method, Marcin is also one of the few artists in the world who create three-dimensional portraits using a hammer and hundreds of thousands of nails. These remarkable sculptures, much like his Perfolight Art pieces, are a testament to the extraordinary precision and craftsmanship that transcend the boundaries of conventional art.

Born in 1979 in Przedbórz on the Pilica River, he currently lives and works in Częstochowa. His art is a testament to the fact that true creativity knows no bounds, and innovative thinking allows for the creation of works that go beyond the traditional definitions of art
